Yudhvir slams AAP MLA Mehraj Malik’s anti-Hindu remarks, demands immediate apology

JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and MLA East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi has come down heavily on AAP MLA Mehraj Malik for his outrageous and blatantly communal remarks against Hindus, demanding an immediate and unconditional apology.
Condemning the deeply offensive statement, MLA Sethi blasted Malik for insulting Hindu traditions and hurting the sentiments of millions of devotees.
He demanded that Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather take strict action against the AAP legislator for his shameless remarks that have sparked widespread outrage.
“Malik has crossed all limits by making such a disgraceful comment. His statement is not just an attack on Hindus but an attempt to create communal discord. He must apologise immediately, and the treasury benches should strongly condemn his words. The entire House should denounce this divisive rhetoric,” Sethi asserted.
He further accused Malik of playing cheap communal politics and attempting to malign an entire community to push a misleading narrative. “This is the true face of AAP-promoting divisiveness and disrespecting religious sentiments under the guise of politics,” he said.
Sethi also warned that if Malik fails to issue a public apology, BJP will intensify its protest against his anti-Hindu bigotry. “We will not tolerate such blatant insults to our faith. Malik should either apologise or face the consequences of his hateful words,” Sethi added.
Sethi called upon all parties to rise above political affiliations and condemn this attack on Hindu beliefs. “Silence on this issue will be seen as tacit approval of his anti-Hindu mindset,” he said.
Reiterating BJP’s commitment to safeguarding cultural and religious dignity, Yudhvir Sethi said his party will not allow anyone to target Hindus under any pretext. “We respect all religions, but we will not allow anyone to demean our faith. Malik’s words expose the real face of AAP’s communal agenda,” he stated.
He further urged Hindus across the country to unite against such attacks and ensure that no political leader dares to insult their traditions again.
