JAMMU: MLA Jammu East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi, held a Public Darbar at Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Kacchi Chawni, Jammu, to listen to the grievances and issues of local residents.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from people representing different localities, who raised concerns related to civic amenities, infrastructure, and public welfare schemes.
The Public Darbar was attended by Ex-Corporator Dr. Akshay Sharma, Sudesh Sadhotra, BJP Majalta Mandal President Shiv Kumar Sharma, Asha Gupta, Girdhari, and several prominent social activists and party workers.
The participants interacted directly with the MLA, apprising him of various developmental needs including drainage improvement, sanitation, water supply, and road maintenance. Addressing the gathering, Yudhvir Sethi said that such public interactions are an important platform to understand and address the real issues faced by citizens at the grassroots level.
“Our aim is to ensure that every voice is heard and every genuine grievance is resolved in a time-bound manner,” he said.
He assured the people that all genuine concerns brought to his notice would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt redressal.
Sethi further emphasized that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fully committed to the welfare of common citizens through various public-friendly schemes and development projects.
The MLA also urged the public to actively participate in community development activities to make Jammu East a cleaner and better place to live. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring transparent governance and continuous development in every part of the Jammu East constituency. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, and residents appreciated Yudhvir Sethi for his proactive approach and accessibility in addressing people’s issues directly.
