JAMMU: DBN Mubarak Mandi celebrated its Annual Day on Sunday with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on the school premises. This year’s theme, “Operation Sindoor,” highlighted the courage, sacrifice and unwavering love of the Indian Armed Forces for the nation.
The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Yudhvir Sethi (MLA Jammu East Constituency and Senior BJP Leader) and Sahaj Sabharwal (Motivational Speaker and Writer). A formal welcome to all dignitaries was extended by the Manager Trust, Rajendra Kakkar, marking the graceful commencement of the programme.
The Principal, Priya Singh, presented the School Report, showcasing the institution’s achievements and progress during the academic year.
The cultural programme remained the centre of attraction. Students presented impactful performances that portrayed the valour and selfless service of the Indian Armed Forces.
The main presentation, “Operation Sindoor,” depicted the bravery of soldiers who protect the nation even at the cost of their lives. Through expressive dance and powerful dramatization, students paid tribute to the martyrs and celebrated the spirit of unity and patriotism.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Jammu East and Senior BJP Leader Yudhvir Sethi said that the Annual Day celebration of D.B.N. Mubarak Mandi beautifully showcased the spirit of patriotism and national pride among young students.
He praised the theme “Operation Sindoor” for honouring the unmatched courage and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces.
Sethi applauded the students’ powerful performances, calling them a reflection of discipline, devotion and respect for the nation.
He encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence with sincerity and discipline. He told them that their talents, confidence and creativity are the true strength of the nation, and urged them to dream big while working hard to turn those dreams into reality.
Sethi reminded the students that education is not only about academics but also about building character, respecting culture and contributing positively to society.
He inspired them to stay focused, remain humble, and uphold the values of dedication and patriotism reflected in their performances, assuring them that their future holds great promise.
He congratulated the school management and teachers for nurturing values that strengthen society and inspire children to become responsible and patriotic citizens.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Co-Manager Trust, Darshan Lal Sharma, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, parents, teachers and students. The programme ended with the National Anthem, leaving the audience deeply moved.
Parents and teachers were seen visibly emotional, as the theme and performances resonated strongly with everyone present.
The Annual Function “Operation Sindoor” emerged as a resounding success, inspiring all to uphold the ideals of sacrifice, unity, and love for the motherland.
