J-K girls beat Pudducherry
JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir girls trounced Pudducherry to consolidate their position in the 31st Youth National Basketball Championship got underway at Chandigarh on Tuesday.
As per reports reaching here, J and K girls were trailing by a point (21-22) at the half time. However, the State cagers fought back in remaining part of the game to clinch the game making it 42-33.
Pearl Sharma and Sarabjit Kour remained top scorers with 15 and 13 points in their respective accounts. Aashima Tandon (10) and Alisha Uppal (four) were other contributors to the scorer.
Meanwhile, state boys lost their match played against West Bengal 60-71. Abhisar (19), Rohan Sharma (11) and Inderjeet Singh (eight) were the top scorers from J and K.
