KATHUA: A youth identified as Tarun (18), son of Vijay Kumar, resident of Ward No. 2, Kathua who went to the canal for a bath alongwith other colleagues late in the evening on Saturday, drowned. He was the only son of his parents.
In spite of best efforts by the Kathua Police, his body was not traceable. The water has been blocked in the canal but there is no trace of the youth till the receipt of last reports.
