R S PURA: The RS Pura police on the basis of information that one Parveen Kumar son of Jeet Raj resident of village Phinder who died last night, was actually killed by his brother, visited the house of Parveen Kumar in morning and inquired about the cause of death of youth.
Since the death of youth appeared to be due to mysterious circumstances the police insisted upon the postmortem of the body which the relatives of deceased denied and hurriedly shifted the body to cremation ground.
Meanwhile the SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh reached the spot and pacified the people with convincing reasons that the postmortem of the body was the requirement under law of the land and they should not have any objection. Body of the deceased was then taken into police custody and shifted to Sub Distict Hospital RS Pura. The body was later handed over to the relatives for cremation after completing the legal formalities. The police have registered the case under section 174 RPC for investigation.
