KISHTWAR: A Kashmiri youth died when the vehicle he was driving skidded off the road and fell from the steep hill at Watsar near Sinthan- Top, 45 Km from Kishtwar on Saturday.
According to police, the car bearing registration number JK01V-3418 was on its to Kishtwar from Srinagar and while passing through the steep curvy slopes of Sinthan heights skidded off the road near Watsar and rolled 200 feet downhill to other portion of the road.
Passersby and police retrieved the person from the badly damaged vehicle and shifted him to PHC Chatroo where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was identified as Mukhtar Ahmed son of Mohd Amin Resident of Safa Kadal, Srinagar. Police has registered a case in this regard at Police Station Chatroo.
