UDHAMPUR: A youth attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substance at his house at Chenani on Wednesday.
According to a report, a youth identified as Sunil Chand son of Diwan Chand resident of Chenani consumed poisonous substance in his house. On seeing him lying unconscious, his family members shifted him to SDH Chenani, where doctors further referred him to District Hospital Udhampur. Doctors on seeing his condition critical further referred him to GMC Jammu. Chenani Police has registered a case and launched the investigation.
