Young Rovers beat Jammu United FC by 13-1 in 17th Christmas Cup

JAMMU: Young Rovers FC outplayed Jammu United FC by 13-01 in the one sided match of the ongoing 17th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament-2023, organized by All J&K Sports and Cultural Welfare Association under the aegis of J&K Football Association with the collaboration of J&K Sports Council at Mini Stadium Parade Football Ground, here on Thursday.
In first half, Amanjyot scored five goals and Anmat scored two goals for Young Rovers FC and only one goal was scored by Sumit for Jammu United FC.
However, in second half of the game, one goal was scored by Omack, two goals each by Tsering and Abhimanyu and one goal was scored by Amajyot for Young Rovers FC.
In today’s match Sunil Kesar (DySP) SDP City North was the Chief Guest and others present were Anil Masood, Ramesh Chander (International Player), Varinder Gupta, Ashok Sharma, David Masih, Yousaf Don (Org. Secretary), Peter Sandhu, Satpal Singh (Manager Parade Ground Stadium, Jammu) and Kamaljeet Kumar. Today’s match was officiated by Aman Banathia, Dil Bahadur, Kartik Sharma and Arush. TOMORROW FIXTURES: J&K Bank Academy versus Downtown Hero FC at 3:00 PM; and Shaheen FC versus Young Heroes/Nagrota FC at 4:00 PM.
