YNC expresses grave concern over power, drinking water crisis in Jammu

JAMMU: Expressing dismay over perpetual power and drinking water scarcity in the Jammu region, Youth National Conference (YNC) on Tuesday sought immediate corrective measures to meeting requirements of the people, especially during the ongoing holy month of Ramadhan. “Massive power cuts and drinking water shortage have brought miseries to the people in this spell of scorching heat”, District President YNC Rohit Kerni said while addressing a meeting at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here this morning.
The YNC castigated PDP-BJP Government for failing on all fronts, especially in ensuring basic minimum necessities to the people. Its leaders said the unscheduled power cuts and low voltage have hampered the normal life. The meeting also expressed shock and grief over the accident at Khanter Village in Poonch which claimed four lives and caused injuries to several others. Those present in the meeting included Ayub Malik Provincial Vice President , Som Raj Taroch, Ashwani Charak, Nitish Gowsami, Amit Gupta, Suresh Kumar , Vinay Bindhari, Tarun Sharma, Kirti , Farman Ali, Munish, Mohit Gupta and Gorav Sharma.
