JAMMU: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organised an industrial visit of its IIIrd Semester Electrical and Computer Engineering students to Intex unit at Bari Brahmna near here on Monday.
Engineering students were received by the officials of Intex including O.P Sharma- Plant Head Operations and Anil Dogra-Senior Executive, HR and Admin.
Indu Bhardwaj System-Head, briefed students about the infrastructure from plant layout including production, Quality assurance (QA), Quality Control Department (QCD) labeling, packaging to logistics and the functioning of three-different units of the plant.
Students were taken to different units of the plant by Rajesh Rohila-Manager Production. He briefed them about different functioning and methodologies being used in the entire process of manufacturing of multimedia speakers, PCB’s, woofers and tweeters used in the operations of computers, home theatres and other audio systems.
