YCET organises lecture on personality development

JAMMU: Department of Applied Sciences of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) on Saturday organised extension lecture on Personality Development for B.E first semester students.
Dr. Gowhar Rasool from the Department of HRM&OB, Central University Jammu was the Resource Person. The program commenced with the welcome speech given by Sunakshi Gupta, Assistant Professor in Management.
Dr. Rasool stressed on the importance of all round development of the personality as it is the most important aspect in the life of a person that determines not only his professional success but also his overall behaviour and attitude in life.
He emphasised on the fact that personality development is a tool through which we bring out our capabilities and our strengths making our self aware of our inner self and become more confident to face the outside world.
Having an interactive session with the budding technocrats, he said that without influencing others, we can’t get success in today’s competitive world.
He focused on the main traits of personality development as it enables to have hassle free conversation and give a boost to our confidence.
It not only improves our skills but also helps in developing a positive attitude.
He spell bound the students by conducting some of the interesting activities that boosted their energies.
The programme was graced by Dr. Sandeep Malik, Dean Academics YCET, B.R Verma, Chief Coordinator, K.R Sharma, HoD Mechanical, Rakesh Verma, HoD Applied Sciences and faculty members of Applied Sciences.
The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Wani Gupta, Lecturer in Management Department of Applied Sciences.
