YAIKS protest enters day 2, demands implementation of Court order

JAMMU: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) held a protest outside Governor House here demanding implementation of Court order issued in favour of 221 candidates.
Large number of Kashmiri Pandits (KP) youth assembled outside Raj Bhawan here on second consecutive day and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
They appealed to the Governor to intervene for filling up of the remaining 4,000 posts out of sanctioned 6,000 jobs under PM’s special employment package for Kashmiri migrants including the selection of pending teachers and 221 writ petitioners.
They stated that the Division Bench of Jammu and Kashmir has given directions to the respondents (Govt) to accommodate the appellants within two months but the Court order is still pending for its implementation due to negligence and biased approach of the concerned authorities towards KP community.
R,K Bhat, President, YAIKS, while addressing the protestors said that it is very unfortunate on the part of concerned authorities, which have failed to implement the High Court judgment within stipulated time bound period of two months.
Among others who addressed the protestors included, Ajay Raina, Manoj, Princy Kumari, Ajay Safaya, Sunil Dhar, Ajay Koul, Amit Raina, Sunil Bhat and Advisors D.N Bhat and Shuban.
