Wrestling body felicitates Arjun Awardee Ravinder Singh Sangwan

KATRA: Arjun Awardee wrestler Ravinder Singh Sangwan, who is serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police in Haryana Police Department and also a Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist New Delhi 2010 and a Bronze Medalist in the 16th Asian Games 2010 held at China, Katra to pay obeisance at the holy Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. He was accompanied by his family members.
He was felicitated in a function organized by President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma, who is also Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of Indian and President Senior Citizens Welfare Forum Katra. He was presented with a Mata Ki Chunni as mark of appreciation and pride along with photograph of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji.
Shiv Sharma wished him a berth in the coming Olympics Games and wished him all the best to bring laurel for the country with the blessings of Maa Vaishno Devi.
Wrestler Ravinder Singh Sangwan expressed his deep sense of gratitude and praise for Shiv Kumar Sharma for his effort to encourage the wrestlers and promotion of wrestling especially in the rural and remote hilly belts of the State and for his all hospitality up to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine and back.
