JAMMU: Choudhary Bothu Ali of Sarore near Bari Brahmna won Kotli Mian Fateh Dangal Title by defeating wrestler Soma from Jalandhar in the main bout lasted for approximately 20 minutes.
Dangal was organized at the Shrine of Baba Bohri Wala at Village Kotli Mian Fateh, RS Pura.
Chief Guest, Dr Gagan Bhagat, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) R.S Pura, gave away the trophies to winner and runner up wrestlers.
The Dangal Committee apprised the Legislator that the Dangal is being organised every year in the memory of Baba Bohri Waala who blessed the people with his sermons and spiritual powers.
Dr Gagan Bhagat congratulated the winner wrestler Bothu and said that he is the inspiration for the youth of R.S Pura and the State.
He stressed that the biggest challenge for youths is to protect themselves from the menace of drugs which is the main weapon used by our enemies to target the upcoming generation.
He also assured that the youths who are interested in wrestling or in any others ports, the facility of the professional sports coaching for these sports is being provided at the Sardar Bana Singh Indoor Stadium at R S Pura.
Dr. Gagan was honoured by the Dangal committee. Om Prakash, Surinder Singh, Bodh Raj, Devender Sharma, Bishan Dass and Ranbir Singh were also present.
