SRINAGAR: The Minister for Urban Local Bodies and Urban Development, Nawang Rigzin Jora on Tuesday informed that the 123 Kanal reclaimed land adjoining golf course Sidhra Jammu has been got surveyed by the Tourism department along with preparing its contour plan.
The said land has not been handed over to the Tourism Department, however, an identity for the transfer has been taken up with the Deputy Commissioner Jammu.
The minister was replying to a question by Ajatshtru Singh in Legislative Council on behalf of the Tourism Minister.
He further informed that 9-holes have been completed and are playable. The work on the back 9-holes is under progress and is expected to be completed during this financial year. The work on the club building is under progress, he said adding that structure of the club has been completed and the ancillary and finishing work is underway.
