Woman killed, four injured in bus accident;Three bikers injured in Nowshera

UDHAMPUR: A woman died on the spot while four got critically injured when a bus rolled down near Samroli area of Udhampur outskirts.
According to a report, a JKRTC bus bearing No. JK02Y-0583 which was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar rolled down near Sarmorli on Jammu Kashmir National Highway.
Receiving the information Police Party led by SHO Chenani Mahesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Chenani Vinod Sharma rushed to the spot and retrieved the dead and injured and shifted to SDH Chenani. In accident one lady died on spot and identified as Sita Devi wife of Kashmiri Lal resident of while injured were identified as 18 years Anu Parihar daughter of Kashmiri Lal resident of Kishtwar, 41 years Savita wife of Chuni Lal resident of Umar colony Jammu and 46 years Mohd Shafi son of Gulam Qadar resident of Thakrai in Kisthwar and Santosh wife of Vidya Lal resident of Chatroo
All the injured were further referred to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment. Police handed over the body of the female to her family members after conducting autopsy and registered a case vide FIR No 127/2016 under section 304 (A), 289, 337 Crpc for investigation. Police has arrested the driver of the vehicle who was identified as Shehzad son of Ghulasm Haider resident of Dral Rajouri.
Meanwhile three youths were injured when their bikes collided in Quila Darhal area on Wednesday. The injured identified as Mohd Farooq (40) son of Mohd Jamil resident of who received serious injuries was referred to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu after providing first aid at Sub-District hospital Nowshera while Jagmohan and Daljeet who received minor injuries, were discharged after providing first aid.
