Jammu: A woman was found hanging in her house at Sidhra area on Thursday, however her parents alleged that she was murdered over dowry by her-in-laws .
According to the information, Priya Chib, wife of Sushil Jambal, resident Sidhra was fond hanging in hrer house and was shifted hospital where she died. The parents of the deceased woman were informed by in-laws which reached the hospital and staged protest. They said that they were informed over the phone that their daughter had hanged herself but she can’t take such step as she was a brave daughter.
They said that dowry was constantly demanded by her in-laws, however they already have given them an expensive car, but still they used to make new demands every time. They also said that she was sent to her maternal home several times.
