UDHAMPUR: A woman made an abortive bid to commit suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Sudhmahadev in Tehsil Chenani.
She has been identified as Kanta Devi (32), daughter of Ramesh Kumar, resident of Sudhmahadev. According to report, she consumed some poisonous substance to end her life. The family members shifted her to PHC Sudhmahadev where doctors referred her to District Hospital Udhampur. Meanwhile, Sudhmahadev Police has registered a case and started investigation.
