With development of Sanskrit, vision to make nation Vishwa Guru will realize soon: Sham

JAMMU: World Sanskrit Day celebrations will be organized by Shri Kailakh Astrology and Vedic Sansthan Trust on Sunday. A meeting in this regard was held on Sunday at Karbanda, Bhalwal, which was attended by former Minister and State BJP Deputy President Sham Lal Sharma along with others. Speaking on the occasion, Sham Lal said that with development of Dev-Vani Sanskrit, not only will India’s dream of becoming a Vishwa Guru will be realized soon but the world will also move on path of holistic development with peace. “Culture of doing and being cultured from Sanskrit awakens world peace and social development even in present era. History is witness that from ancient times to modern times, India never invaded land of any other country. Such events will boost morale of Sanskrit lovers,” he added.
Director Agriculture K K Sharma informed that on the occasion of ‘World Sanskrit Day’, an agricultural fair will also be organized by Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology, Jammu at Majestic Grand Resort, Purkhu. On the occasion, famous Dogri poet Randhir Singh (Raipuria) and famous weightlifter Mannu Khajuria were also felicitated.
