JAMMU: University of Jammu (JU) on Sunday made a winning start in the North Zone Inter-University Football Tournament, hosted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh.
In the opening match, played on Sunday, JU blanked Lucknow University making it an outright 4-0 win. Star striker, Arun Nagyal netted all the four goals in the second half of the play.
Arun scored in 42nd, 45th, 48th and 52nd minute of the match to enter the second round of the competition in style.
Now, in the next round, JU shall be playing against the winner of Punjab Technical University (PTU) and Jamila University.
