Congratulations to our hockey players and their coach as well. I think a few tips will stand them in good stead: 1. Encourage cooperative approach. 2 Make the left wing more energetic. 3 Be as cool as Balbir Singh senior when in the opponent’s D. And be as strong as Pirthipal Singh. 4 When the need arises, one player must be on the watch in the opponent’s D. 5 Ensure penalty-corner score. 6 Get ready for the rebound instantly. 7 Short and correct passes pay ultimately. 8 Do not leave sides. 9 Do not lose patience when the chance comes. 10 Practice hard.
