KISHTWAR: After surfacing of photographs of murder accused in infamous August 2013 Kishtwar communal riots were posing with former Minister of State in Mufti Syeed government and MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma, beside also with Union Minister of State in PMO Jitendra Singh at his New Delhi official residence with four other BJP leaders including MLA Doda Shakti Parihar and MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar, BJP leader from Inderwal Tariq Keen and another leader from Banihal Shokat Dang, the focus has once again shifted on Kishtwar Police to initiate action with regard to arrest of the two absconders Hari Krishan alias Kasooru involved in killing of 52 year old Lassa Khanday and Roshan Lal involved in brutal killing of handicapped PHE employee Bashir Moochi who was burnt alive inside Chowghan ground Kishtwar.
As per law, any person who will provide shelter to an absconder is liable to be prosecuted under Section 212 and 216 of the law, but to the utter surprise; instead of putting MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma behind the bars and subject him to questioning, senior police officials escorted the MLA Sunil Sharma to his Kishtwar home on Monday evening when he reached Kishtwar after facing snubbing from party leadership for restoring to childish act of facilitating absconder’s entry, not only inside the residence of Union Minister but also to Parliament where he accompanied Sunil Sharma who met their with several party ministers and top leadership of the party.
Though Jitendra Singh distanced himself from the controversy by putting hard ball at MLA Kishtwar by saying that the person was accompanied with Sunil Sharma and he had no knowledge about him being involved in any case.
Dr. Singh’s statement is contrary to the fact that accused Hari Krishan is the BJPs hardcore block president Padder who remained a star campaigner for him during Parliamentary elections and had also campaigned for Sunil Sharma during Assembly elections as it was Kishtwar violence aftermath which BJP managed to cash in as a result of which the party got hold of Hindu votes in the country which led to the emerging of Modi government era at New Delhi.
Though Dr. Singh refused to identify the murder accused Hari Krishan, but it would be immaturity on the part of the MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma in case he refuses to own his party block president who according to the locals of Padder once opened his shirt in a public meeting at Padder and threw it on former J&K Governor G C Sexena added that Hari Krishan was the man who instigated communal violence in Padder.”If he would not have been in Padder, the situation might have been different there” said the locals.
Meanwhile, intelligence agencies have started probe to ascertain the facts with regard to breach of security in terms of entry of a murder accused, declared absconder by the Kishtwar court, into high profile security zone. “It was murder accused turned absconder today who managed to enter inside minister’s house and parliament, tomorrow it could be any anti-national element including militant— it is indeed a security breach which need to be probed” said experts.
It is now to be seen whether Kishtwar police succumbed to BJP pressure or they will arrest the MLA Kishtwar for questioning and recovery of the accused persons wanted in murder case.
