“The PDP-BJP duo does not want to send out a signal that radicalised youth of these settlers are up to some mischief to vitiate the atmosphere by indulging in terror acts”, the civil society activist said, adding that though Jammu people, unlike Kashmiris, have no grouse whosoever settles in this winter capital but the government is deliberately shielding them to have their strong foothold in the temple city. He questioned the police version of describing the suspected terrorist as ‘disgruntled youth, asking how the law enforcing agency reached this conclusion. He wished the police had carried out a thorough interrogation and investigation before trivalising the issue, as there are huge apprehensions of terrorism spreading its tentacles in the Jammu region.
