Srinagar: After their astounding success in class 10th examinations, girls have again outshined the boys in higher secondary part two results declared Monday.
In science stream, the first position is shared by five girls with a score of 490 out of 500.
The students belong to Mallinson Girls Higher Secondary School, Srinagar, Iqbal Memorial Institute (Girls) and S R M Welkin Sopore.
In commerce faculty, the first position has been bagged by Basirah Ashai of Green Valley Educational Institute by scoring 484 marks while as Sadaf Khurshid of Government Girls Higher Secondary school, Kothi Bagh has secured the first position in Arts by scoring 488 marks.
In Home Science, Lubna Binti Mushtaq of Government Higher Secondary school Anantnag has scored 478 marks and bagged the first position.
