Whites Cricket Club elects office bearers

JAMMU: One of the prominent affiliate units of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA)-Whites Cricket Club (WCC) held the General Body Meeting and elected new office bearers to run the affairs of the Club.
Cricket organiser and administrator Rajeev Pandita was unanimously elected as the President of the Club replacing MK Handoo, who hasn’t served the Club for over sixty years.
First Class cricketer Rakesh Koul was elected General Secretary of the Club, while Raveesh Mengi was nominated as the Vice President. Minu Raina was elected Treasurer of the Club, while Vijay Raina will be the Joint Secretary.
Earlier, before starting the proceedings, the members observed one minute silence to pay homage to former General Secretary of the Club, Late Chaman Lal Chrangoo, who has served the JKCA and the Club in different capacities including Vice Chairman. The general members of the Club include Ravi Pandita, Deepak Fotedar, Rohit Pandita and Sunil. Rajesh Dhar, General Secretary RCC Srinagar was observer of the election meeting.
