Welfare society sets up relief camp

UDHAMPUR: Chairman Children Welfare Society, S. Gurdeep Singh Sasan on the demand Sunil Verma NC leader of Udhampur held relief camp at Udhampur to distribute relief material to the public who suffered during the heavy rains.
A large number of disaster victims from for flung areas assembled at Housing Colony Udhampur where Sasan distributed cotton quilts to the most affected sufferers.
Sasan speaking to the sufferers appreciated the united efforts of defence Forces and civil administration in rescuing the people and providing all possible help to the affected people of the State. Sasan lauded the efforts of Omar Abdullah who personally reached out to the affected peoples.
Sasan assured the victims that NC is committed to mitigate the sufferings of people and he stands committed to help the victims during this hour of crises. He fervently appealed to the people to come forward and generously donate for affected people. To pay homage to the departed souls two minutes silence was observed and participants prayed for the speedy recovery of the sufferers.
Ch. Modh. Shafi Member State Board of Gujjar and Bakarwals, Prem Nath Sharma, Rattan Lal Sharma, Tanveer Ahmed, Capt. Ravi Singh, Pt. Hari Gopal, Govind Ram, Raj Ali, Sanjay Kumar, Vinod Abrol, Fajji and Ch. Daud were also present on the occasion.
