Wave Club wins in Holi Cup T20

JAMMU: Wave Cricket Club on Sunday advanced into the next round of the ongoing Second Holi Cup Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at Phalain Mandal ground in the Tawi Island area of the city, here.
Wave Club made it a six wickets win against Media XI. Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, Media XI was bowled out for 128 runs in 19.1 overs.
Vivek Suri and Faheem Tak were main scorers with 24 and 19 runs in their respective accounts while Amit Sudan contributed 16. For Wave Club, Prabjot Singh emerged as most
successful bowler, who took five wickets. Sunny and Balbir Singh shared two wickets each.
In reply, Wave Club attained the goal in just 11.2 overs making 133 runs losing four wickets. Chandeep Singh played fine innings of 62 runs coming off just 32 balls while Charanjeet Singh made 22-ball 46. Sunny added eight-ball 14 runs. Jagdeep Singh and Sachin Jamwal claimed two wickets each from Media XI.
Today’s match was officiated by the technical panel comprising Virender Singh and Sachin Singh as Umpires while Raj Kumar was Scorer.
