JAMMU: President, J and K Gymnastic Association, Former Commissioner Jammu Municipal Committee and Secretary Sports Council, Kiran Wattal paid a visit to Rajiv Gandhi Sports Museum , set up by Dr Ashutosh Sharma at Karan Nagar Extn. Jammu. Wattal, who himself a veteran sports personality and lover of sports, lauded the efforts of Dr Sharma in exhibiting all his collection of about 60 years which included photographs of dignitaries from all over the world, country and the state, Lapel Pins, Accreditation cards, Blazers of different countries.
Sharma visited during his sports career as a player, Administrator and sports promoter, Medals Souvenirs, Mementoes and Trophies of various sports functions organised in India and aboard.
Wattal promised to see that a suitable piece of land is allotted to set up the sports museum within the city of Jammu so that general public specially sports persons should avail the opportunity to visit the museum and the same is declared as “Heritage” .
