JAMMU: A man and his son died on the spot on Thursday while his wife got injured when a wall caved in Lakkar Mandi locality of Jammu city.
According to police, a labourer Goura Ram and his family was sleeping in a Jhuggi at Lakkar Mandi area of Janipur when the boundary wall caved in and fell on them. In the incident, Goura Ram and his son Aman, resident of Chhattisgarh at present staying at Lakkar Mandi died on the spot while his wife Durga Devi got critical injuries.
They were shifted to GMC Hospital Jammu where Goura Ram and Aman were declared brought dead. The bodies were kept in mortuary for postmortem to be conducted tomorrow.
Police has registered a case for further investigation.
