VIJAYPUR : MLA Vijaypur and Sr. Vice President NC, J and K Surjeet Singh Slathia on Sunday addressed a series of election meetings in Ramgarh, Thlori, Yogpur, Jakh Chandla, Jakh, Makorewali, Meen Sarkar and Jakh Channi in Vijaypur Constituency.
Slathia appealed to the people to vote for National Conference as this is the only party which gives priority for peace, prosperity and development of all the three regions of J and K State. He said that the opposition parties are exploiting the people of the society by only hollow slogans and they do not work for the benefit of the people of the area on ground.
Addressing a large gathering, Slathia said that the people are well aware that the NC is the only party which can guard the honour of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He further said that the National Conference is a strong and secular party in the State. He asked the people to strengthen the hands of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and vote for his party candidate from Vijaypur Constituency.
Slathia said that the developmental activities carried out in Vijaypur Constituency during the last five and half years, the people of the area can see on the ground adding that he not only speaks but also to performs the developmental activities on ground.
Kuldip Raj, Bod Raj, Jarnail Singh, Ramesh Lal, Thakur Bhagwan Singh, Buti Ram, Panchs and Sarpanchs were also present on the occasion.
