JAMMU: Vomedh Theatre Group, celebrating ten years of its existence, is going to stage the third show of ‘Ek Aur Birbal’ tomorrow,
Reminiscing the journey of past ten years, Rakesh Roshan Bhat, the mentor of the group and also the play-writer, told reporters, “we are proud of all our productions but Ek Aur Birbal is very special to us as it connected so well with the audience and gave us lot of love and affection from everyone.”
Elaborating on future plans of Vomedh, founder director Rohit said that we are doing the 3rd show of Ek Aur Birbal tomorrow.
“Ek Aur Birbal deserves to be seen by all and hence we would leave no stones unturned to take this play all over India,” he said adding that they are also instituting annual Pt. Birbal Dhar Award from this year.
He also announced that one of the finest actors and theatre gurus Lalit Parimoo has joined Vomedh as the Chief Mentor whose experience will certainly help a great deal the aspiring actors of Jammu and Kashmir. Rohit thanked the staff and management of J and K Cultural Academy. He further thanked organizations like Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra, KPIT Samith, Zeastha Devi Prabhandhak Committee and individuals like Surinder Ambardar, Aryan Ramesh, Amit Parimoo, V Tech and Samajik Vikas Sansthan.
