Volleyball, Kho-Kho events held under My Youth My Pride at Bishnah

JAMMU: Under the banner of J&K Sports Council special vertical My Youth My Pride, Volleyball and Kho-Kho events were organized at Government Girls High School in the border Area, Arnia. A total of 435 students, both boys and girls besides 20 officials and 150 spectators participated in the events. Vice Principal of Government Girls High School Arnia, Raj Kumar was the Chief Guest and Kuldeep Gupta was Guest of Honour on the occasion. Sport’s Activities were organized under overall supervision of Manager MA, Stadium Jammu Satpal Singh. The final match of the volleyball was played between Maharaja Club and Bishnah Higher Secondary School in which former knocked out the latter with the final score line reading 2-1 (25-13, 25-18, 25-19) in their favour and lifted the title. In the Kho-Kho event, Senior Girls Club won the final bout. Before culmination of Sports Activities. School Staff Volleyball Match was organised between Junior Staff and Senior Staffs. Match was won by Senior Staff by 2-1 (21-8, 21-10).
Others present were Pawandeep Kour (Athletics Coach), Vinay Sharma (Senior Handball Coach), Ratika Slathia (Senior Judo Coach), Rachna Jamwal (Senior Coach), Dalvinder Singh (Hockey Coach) and Divum Gupta (Badminton Mentor).
