JAMMU: Vigilance Organisation Kashmir (VOK) produced a Challan on Thursday in case FIR No.12/2012 Police Station VOK against accused Manzoor Ahmad Awan, the then Patwari Halqa Kaloosa Bandipora, son of Bashir Ahmad Awan, resident of Argam Bandipora before the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar, Y.P Bourney.
The accused was caught red handed while demanding/ accepting a bribe amounting Rs.1,000 as illegal gratification from the complainant namely Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, resident of Muslimabad Kalsoo Bandipora for issuance of revenue extract in respect of pasture land under his possession.
