UDHAMPUR: Vivek Cricket Club Ghordi won the cricket tournament, organised by Srimat Vivekananda Youth Forum(SVYF) Ghordi, here on Tuesday.
Vivek Cricket Club defeated Dalsar Cricket Club by 50 runs in the final.
Batting first, Vivek Cricket Club set the target of 223 runs which in reply Dalsar Cricket Club made 173 runs. Javed was declared Man of the Series for his outstanding performance and Shishu Paul was Man of the Match for making 67 runs.
Earlier, the final match was inaugurated by President Vishal Sharma in the presence of I/c Zonal Sports Officer Ghordi Yash Paul, Vice President SVYF Madan Mohan, General Secretary Radhey Sham and Joint Secretary Rajesh Kumar.
The match was officiated by Yash Paul and Radhey Sham. Vishal also requested the youth to attend Youth Convention to be held on 11th January, 2015.
