Vishwa Bharati students bring laurels to school

JAMMU: Students of Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School rought laurels to the school by winning medals in 13th National Martial Arts Championship organised by CAMAT India in association with Lion’s club at Katri Sabha Pathankote (Punjab).
As many as 24 students represented from the school and won 23 medals including six gold, seven Silver and ten bronze medals besides the the best fighter team trophy.
Gold: Ansh Sharma (5th B), Komal Padroo (6th A), Tanmay Sharma (9th A), Arjun Gupta (8th A), Shrifal Raina (10th B), Parshant Pangotra (8th A) and Ankit Singh Jamwal (9th B).
Silver: Nischal Zutshi (9th B), Ayush Bhat (9th B), Abhishek Pandita (9th A), Manik Singh Bajju (8th B), Mohit Gorkha (9th B) and Rashi Padroo (10th B).
Bronze: Hershulla Ganjoo (5th B), Bhawana Salgotra (5th A), Abhishek Singh Chib ( 9th B), Hritik Kirshore Sharma (9th B), Sandeep Singh (9th B), Khushvinder Singh Jamwal (9th B), Ankit Chib (8th A), Bhavishya Saraf (5th B), Simranpreet Singh (5th A) and Chetan Kumar Lahhotra (8th B).
The trophy and medals besides certificates of merit were given away by Dr. Pardeep Sharma and Sandeep Garg, Vice District Governor.
Principal of the School, Annapurna Kaul, in a specially organised morning Assembly congratulated the students and advised them to keep it up.
