POUNI: A Vishal Nagar Kirtan was taken out on Saturday jointly by the Sangat of Khera Lehar and Kailakh (Bharakh) on the occasion of celebration of 350th centenary of 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji in which over two thousand people of different communities participated. President Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Kehar Singh led the procession.
The Nagar Kirtan led by Panj Piyaras started from Gurdwara Singh Sabha Khera Lehar at 10:30 AM in which Raagi Jathas and Dhadi Jathas recited Gurbani Kirtan. The Religious procession was accorded warm reception enroute by large number of sangat and participants served with tea, sweets, fruits and other eatables. The Dhadi Jatha of Bhai Amrik Singh from Pathankot recited the Sikh history.
The team of martial art from Raipur Satwari, Jammu presented the traditional Gatka amid beating of drums in which the participants exhibited special stunts and the techniques of religious warfare.
The Nagar Kirtan culminated at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Kailakh where the participants were served Guru Ka Langar.
