Dear Editor,
Society’s overdependence on technology and the related negative impacts need to be accepted. It is true that there is loss of creativity due to addiction to technology. However, it cannot be disputed that without the advancement of technology, our lives would come to a grinding halt. The inability or refusal to remain abreast of the rest of the world pushes an individual far behind in terms of employment and quality of life. Technology is so pervasive that we cannot keep gadgets away from children too. The pros of technology outweigh the cons.
