Vinayak Institute holds workshops, seminars

JAMMU: Vinayak Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences organised workshops, seminars and extension lecturers on different topics related to Paramedical and nursing subjects in which students of all streams took part.
Workshop on ‘Safe use of Drugs and Medicines’ which includes proper dosage, desired effects and side effects of the drug and medicines was conducted by pharmaceutical consultant Rakesh Zutshi.
Another workshop on ‘role and duties of paramedics in different departments of hospital and their importance in smooth running of hospital’ was conducted by Medical Expert Dr. Y.S Manhas.
Extension Lecture on ‘Career Opportunities and career Guidance’ for paramedics was conducted by Coordinator of the Institute, Gurveen Kour Sason.
The function was concluded by the lecture of Amardeep Singh, Chairman of the institute who also highlighted the aims and objectives of the Trust of the Institute.
He further said that the main objectives of the Trust were to provide quality education in the field of Paramedical and Nursing Profession and also hold medical camps, educational awareness camps at different area.
