VIJAYPUR: Women Cell of Vimal Muni College of Education was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof. Meenakshi Kilam, Director Centre for Quality Assurance University of Jammu here on Thursday.
The objectives of this women cell are to empower the women for their rights and duties.
Krishana Devi HoD DIET Samba was the Guest of Honour and Dr. S.D Gupta former Principal of the College was the Special Guest of Honour.
After welcoming the guests, Chairperson Anu Gupta presented the annual report of the college highlighting the aims and objectives of women cell. Sunita Kumari lecturer recited a poem. A skit Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao was displayed by the B.Ed students. Jai Kumar B.Ed student screened a presentation on women empowerment.
Krishana Devi HoD DIET Samba spoke on the value and importance of a female baby. Chief Guest, Prof. Meenakshi Kilam appreciated the activity of women cell in the college. Dr. Neelam Bakshi Principal presented the vote of thanks.
