NOWSHERA: The residents of villages Dabbar, Dabbar, Potha, Dharat, Kheri and Talla held a protest against the Roads and Buildings Department for not repairing 18 km long road from Dabbar to Dharat.The villagers said that the Department of Roads and Buildings has been repeatedly approached for carrying out the repair works on this road but the authorities are not paying any heed due to which the condition of road has worsened.
The villagers warned the department that if it does not take in hand the repair work of this road, they will block the National Highway and hold strong protests.
