JAMMU: The State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) has registered an FIR against Executive Officer Municipal Committee Bandipora for preparing and producing a fake diploma certificate to join government service.
A verification conducted by State Vigilance Organisation on a complaint that Shakeel Ahmad Shah, son of Ghulam Hassan Shah, resident of Gundpora Bandipora presently posted as Executive Officer, M. C. Bandipora/Hajin is having fake diploma certificate of Sanitary Inspector which he produced to secure his entry in the Department of Urban Local Bodies Kashmir etc.
During verification it was revealed that the said officer has appeared in the examination of Sanitary Inspector Part-II during J&K State Medical Faculty Examination Session August 1988 through Charitable Mobile Hospital Srinagar and was failed but under the guise of rechecking has managed to obtain certificate showing the accused beneficiary as pass.
Verification has further revealed that no such Diploma certificate has been issued by the State Para Medical Council Govt. Medical College Srinagar in favour of the beneficiary. It has been found that beneficiary has managed a fake diploma certificate by dishonestly and fraudulently and resultantly secured his entry in the department of Urban Local Bodies Kashmir.
Accordingly, FIR 07/16 under sections 5(1)(d) read with 5(2) J&K P.C. Act Svt. 2006 and section 420,467, 468 and 471 RPC was registered against Shakeel Ahmad Shah, son of Ghulam Hassan Shah, resident of Gundpora Bandipora presently posted as in charge Executive Officer Municipal Committee Bandipora/Hajin.
