Vigilance Awareness Week: J&K Police holds ‘Pledge taking Ceremonies’ throughout Jammu Zone

JAMMU: In order to eradicate the corruption and to oppose all forms of corruption, J&K Police on the occasion of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ facilitated pledge taking ceremonies at all the Police establishments across the Jammu Zone.
Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone, Anand Jain administered the integrity pledge to the staff of Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu this morning.
During the pledge ceremony, all the officers/jawans pledged to work with zeal in maintaining highest standards of integrity, transparency and good governance besides, eradicating corruption and oppose all forms of corruption. Moreover, it was also pledged neither to offer nor to accept bribe, rather to foster a culture of honesty and integrity.
The pledge functions were held simultaneously at all the Jammu based District Police headquarters as well as Police establishments. During the pledge functions, pledge was administered to all the officers & officials by the respective District SSPs and concerned officers.
