UDHAMPUR: As a part of Vigilance Awareness Week, a vigilance awareness programme on theme ‘My Vision Corruption Free India’ was organised by the UDKR Wing Vigilance Organization, Jammu of Gram Sabha Panchari in Dak Bunglow Panchari District Udhampur.
The programme was attended by Tehsildar Panchari, CDPO Panchari, Principal Govt Higher Secondary School Panchari, EX-Sarpanchs, Ex-Panchs namely Shanak Singh, Jai Pal, Chuni Lal, Bansi Lal, Jeet Singh,Nanak Singh and other public representatives. Speaking on the occasion the officers of Vigilance Organization, Jammu apprised the representatives of Gram Sabha about the holding of such awareness programmes to educate the Gram Sabha about their roll and responsibility in Rural and Semi-Urban Areas on the ill-effects of corruption related acts and sanitized them about their roll in controlling such practices by disseminating the information at right time before appropriate authority. The participants were also apprised that as a responsible representatives of Gram Sabha, they have also to contribute much in eliminating corruption in cooperation with the authorities concerned, so that the vision of Corruption Free India will prove effective in future.
