Vibodh calls for inclusion of all eligible voters

RAJOURI: A meeting of the Urban Mandal of BJP was organised at Dak Bungalow Rajouri on Saturday which was organised to review the preparations for the upcoming urban local bodies elections. During the meeting the party workers strongly raised the issue of missing names of the eligible voters from the various wards of Rajouri. It was resolved that since the time for addition and deletion of voters is very short the concerned authorities were urged to take serious note of this and accordingly make corrections on priority.
Speaking on the occasion BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta said that the issues of missing names of the voters is very serious. He said that in Ward No 7, 11 and 12 of Rajouri city more than 400 names of the voters are missing from each list adding that election commission officials in Jammu should take serious note of this and should immediately direct the BLO to make necessary corrections on priority as this has caused a strong resentment among the civil society of Rajouri. He asked the party workers to launch a door to door campaign to educate the civil society about this and also asked everyone to help those people whose names have yet not been included in the voters list. BJP District President Dinesh Sharma while speaking on the occasion said that the party will launch a massive awareness drive among the citizens to ensure the victory of the party in the coming urban local bodies elections. He called upon the party workers to work hard towards this.
Other prominent persons who were present on the occasion included Bharat Bhushan Vaid, Atam Gupta, Kamal Gupta, Kamal Bakshi, Bashir Bhat, Balbir Sarpanch, Ranjeet Tara, Vivek Dutta, Kapil Saral, Nishal Rotra, Ujjwal Gupta, Ashwani Kochar, Nishu Gupta, Varun Chandan and Sumit Sharma.
