RAMNAGAR: Police on Saturday achieved a major success by apprehending a notorious vehicle lifter/thief and subsequently making recovery of three stolen vehicles (1 Tata sumo, 1 Maruti van, 1 Maruti car) and ornaments valuing approx 5.75 lakh.
The arrested vehicle lifter was identified as Darshan Singh alias Malothu son of Ramesh Singh.
With the apprehension of the vehicle lifter/thief, four cases under Fir Nos. 107/2014, 108/2014, 109/2014 and 110/2014 of Police Station Ramnagr have been solved.
The arrest was made by police team led by SHO Ramnagar under the supervision of SDPO Ramnagar Abishek Sharma and SSP Udhampur Suleman Choudhary.
