JAMMU: Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu on Saturday flagged off a motor cycle biker rally to Ladakh. The rally has been organized under the aegis of the Biker Brotherhood MC Club, India.
Jugraj Singh, a biker of national repute and President of the Club, informed that twelve bikers led by ride Captain Harpreet Singh Sasan shall undertake the rally that shall pass through the Mughal Road, Sonmarg, Kargil, Leh, Nubra, Pangong Lake and finally culminate at Lahual Spiti.
The rally has been organized to spread the message of peace, communal harmony and brotherhood Jugraj said.
Prof Ashok Aima wished good luck to the bikers and congratulated the Club for the initiative. Prof Lokesh Verma, Academic Coordinator and HoD Education at CUJ presided over the flag off ceremony while Ranjeet Kalra member BCCI, Rashid Choudhary Senior Congress leader, Sarbarider Singh incharge 4G Aircel J and K Circle and social activist Babar Afzal were special guests on the occasion.
