POUNI: To strengthen police public relations and to bring people nearer to the police for better output in prevention and detection of crime, a PCPG meeting under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs Reasi, Addl. SP Reasi and overall supervision of SSP Reasi was held on Tuesday by Insp Ajay Bhat SHO Police Station Pouni along with PSI Maninder Singh In-Charge Police Post Bhambla at village Bhambla, Tehsil Pouni , District Reasi.
The meeting was attended by respectable persons of village Bhambla and other villagers of the area. Many persons spoke in the meeting and praised the work of police and also assured their support and participation in tackling any unlawful or untoward incident.
Various public issues and problems raised by the participants were discussed in the meeting pertaining to different departments i.e transport, flood light not functioning at Bhambla Chowk etc. The grievances of all the participants were listened patiently and they were assured that their genuine demands will be communicated to the senior officers for redressal.
