JAMMU: Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir (VAJK) on Saturday shortlisted 20 promising boys for its 10-day coaching camp to be held, here from December 20 to 30, 2017.
The three-day selection process took place at volleyball courts of MA Stadium, here. Earlier, 76 young players attended the trials initiated by the Association under the guidance of the technical panel.
The trials took place in the presence of officer bearers of Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir.
Joint Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council Jammu Shiv Kumar Sharma was the special invitee, who while interacting with the players, encouraged them to make the Jammu and Kashmir State proud at national and international levels. The selected players will participate in National Youth Volleyball Championship to be held at Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh from January 2 to 7, 2018.
