THAPKOUR: Vaishno College of Engineering conducted a national workshop on ‘Emerging trends in Engineering and Technology’ with the support of the Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur. Students from various colleges participated in the workshop. Dr. Arjun Kumar, a Research Scientist of Earthquake Engineering in IIT Roorkee, was the Chief Guest.
He has worked throughout Himalyan Belt, especially from J and K and Tripura and published more than 45 Research papers on his studies. Main aim of this workshop was on the emerging trends in all the fields of engineering and technology. Students presented their research papers and displayed technical posters. Atlast, amongst all few papers were appreciated by the Chief Guest submitted by Samiksha, Sakshi, Manik and others.
